Built for one format across many images
This tool exists for the specific case of resizing a whole batch of photos to one target platform format at once — every image gets center-cropped to the same exact pixel dimensions, so a folder of mismatched photos comes out as a uniform set ready to upload. If you need to crop each image differently, add per-image safe zones, or fill backgrounds instead of cropping, the full Image Editor handles one image at a time with more control.
Free vs. Pro limits
Free accounts can batch up to 20 images per session at up to 100.0 MB each; Pro removes the batch cap entirely and raises the per-file limit to 500.0 MB, which matters most for large camera-original photos rather than already-compressed web images.
Quality only applies to lossy formats
The quality slider disappears when PNG is selected, since PNG is lossless — there's no quality trade-off to make, only file size, which is driven by image complexity rather than a compression setting. JPEG and WebP both expose the slider because they trade visual quality for smaller files at lower settings.
