Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• Service means the I'm Emage website and tools available at https://imemage.com.
• User means anyone who accesses or uses the Service, whether or not they have an account.
• Member or you means a User who has created an account.
• Content means the images, videos, audio, and other files you create, edit, or process using the Service.

2. Accounts

To use certain features, you must sign in using Firebase Authentication, either with a Google account or an email/password combination. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.

3. Free and Pro Plans

I'm Emage offers a Free plan and a Pro plan with additional features. Any signed-in, email-verified account currently gets Pro access at no charge. Your plan status is stored on our servers and determines which features are available to you.

We do not charge for the Pro plan and do not process any payments. If we introduce paid billing in the future, we will update this section — and Section 4 below — before charging anyone, and give existing Pro users advance notice.

4. Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

This section does not currently apply — no Pro plan payments are being collected. It is kept here for if paid billing is ever introduced: subscriptions would be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) and processed by a third-party payment provider as our merchant of record, subject to that provider's own terms. You would be able to cancel at any time from your account settings or through the provider's customer portal; cancellation would stop future renewals while keeping Pro access through the period already paid for, without partial refunds for unused time.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at [email protected] and we will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis, consistent with applicable consumer protection law.

5. Account Deletion

Accounts can request deletion at any time from account settings. If you have an active paid subscription from before Pro became free, cancel it first (see Section 4, Billing, Cancellation & Refunds) by contacting [email protected].

Once a deletion request is made, we apply a 14-day grace period before permanent deletion. If you sign back in with the same account within 14 days, your account and data are automatically restored and the deletion request is canceled. After the 14-day grace period expires, your account and data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

6. Your Content

I'm Emage's image, video, and audio editing tools run entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or access the files you edit unless you explicitly choose to export or share them through a feature that says so. You retain all rights to the content you create or edit using the Service.

7. Advertising

All users, signed in or not, may see advertisements served by Google AdSense to help support the Service; details are disclosed in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or the rights of others
• Upload, process, or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service beyond normal browsing
• Engage in ad fraud, including click manipulation, repeated automated clicks, or generating artificial traffic intended to interfere with our advertising

We may restrict access, suspend accounts, or block IP addresses without prior notice if we determine you have engaged in any of the above.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its name, logo, design, and underlying software, is the property of I'm Emage. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or source code.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I'm Emage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 100 USD if you have not paid us anything.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our principal place of business in the Republic of Korea.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will announce changes on our website at least 7 days before they take effect; for material changes that are disadvantageous to you, we will provide at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may request deletion of your account (see Section 5, Account Deletion).

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
