MP4 โ WebM
Convert between MP4 and WebM in either direction, fully in your browser.
This browser cannot encode the selected output. Recommended support: MP4, MOV, and M4A need AAC/H.264 encoding in Chrome, Edge, or Safari 26+; WebM output works in Chrome, Edge, Firefox 130+, and Safari 26+. MP3 uses a local encoder extension. WAV output is uncompressed and may create large files.
Some browser screen recordings can be missing standard video metadata. Re-exporting from the recording app or a video editor usually fixes conversion failures.

MOV-to-MP4 and MKV-to-MP4 exist as their own dedicated conversions rather than folding into a single "convert anything" tool, since MOV and MKV are container formats that can hold different codecs inside โ the actual conversion work depends on what's encoded inside the container, not just the file extension. Video-to-Audio is a different job entirely: it discards the video track and re-encodes just the audio, which is the right tool when only the sound from a video is actually needed, rather than running a full video conversion just to extract it afterward.
