Caption Formatter

Write your caption with blank lines between thoughts — we insert an invisible spacer so TikTok doesn't collapse them. Also tracks the 2200-character limit.

0/2200 characters

Why blank lines disappear when you paste

TikTok's caption box silently collapses a plain empty line, so a caption typed with paragraph breaks looks fine while you're writing it but merges into one dense block once posted. This formatter swaps each empty line for a single invisible character that TikTok doesn't collapse, so the spacing survives the paste.

The 2,200-character limit is generous

Most captions run far shorter than the limit — it exists mainly so a caption plus a handful of hashtags doesn't get cut off mid-word. The counter above turns red once you're over it, which also accounts for hashtags typed inline.

Before you paste

  • Only genuinely blank lines get the spacer — a line with a single space already behaves differently and won't need it.
  • The invisible character is copied along with your text, so it survives being pasted straight into TikTok's own caption box.
