Fake Tweet Generator
Build a realistic tweet screenshot mockup for memes, marketing, or examples — entirely in your browser.
Engagement numbers, the Pinned badge, and the attached image are all independent fields here, so it's worth keeping them proportional to each other — a tweet showing 12 replies next to 500K views reads as implausible in a way that undermines whatever example or joke the mockup is for. This tool is meant for illustration, mockups, and memes, not for fabricating a screenshot of something someone didn't actually post.
The light/dark theme toggle matters more than it might seem for a convincing mockup — most audiences browse X in whichever mode is their own default, so matching the theme to the context the screenshot will actually be viewed in (embedded in a dark-mode app screenshot thread, for instance) reads as more natural than defaulting to whichever theme happened to be selected first.
- •Toggling Pinned adds the small pin indicator X shows on a tweet pinned to the top of a profile — leave it off for a normal timeline mockup.
- •An attached image renders below the tweet text the same way a real image tweet does — skip it entirely for a plain text-only mockup rather than leaving the upload field half-used.
