Facebook renders the exact same cover photo file differently depending on where it's viewed — desktop shows the full 1640×624 canvas, while mobile crops in tighter on the sides, and the profile photo overlaps the bottom-left corner on both. Switching between the two safe-zone variants above before exporting is the only reliable way to confirm a headline or logo placed near an edge survives both crops, rather than guessing from the desktop view alone and finding out it's cut off on mobile after publishing.

Place any headline or logo toward the top-right two-thirds of the canvas, since that's the area both crops and the profile-photo overlap all leave untouched.
