Company Page Checklist
The cover-image overlap check exists because LinkedIn's company page layout places the logo directly on top of the bottom-left corner of the cover banner — a design that looks clean in isolation can end up with its most important detail hidden behind the logo once the two are combined on the live page. The tagline's 120-character limit is tight enough that it's worth treating as a headline rather than a sentence: it shows up in search results and link previews before anyone reaches the About section.
- •The About section's first two lines need to cover what, who, and why on their own, since that's the part shown before anyone clicks to expand — the rest of the About text is effectively invisible to a visitor skimming past.
- •Industry and company size feed LinkedIn's own filters — a Page missing either field simply doesn't surface in searches that filter by them, regardless of how complete the rest of the Page looks.
- •The CTA button is the one element that gives a visitor an actual next step — a Page without one relies entirely on someone scrolling to find a link themselves.
