Banner Maker

Build your profile banner — your profile photo overlaps the bottom-left corner, so keep text and logos out of that zone.

Format

The banner's wide, short 1584×396 shape leaves a lot of horizontal room but very little vertical — combined with the profile photo circle sitting over the bottom-left corner, that means the actually safe area for text or a logo is a horizontal strip across the top-right two-thirds of the canvas. A banner designed without checking this zone first often looks fine in a design tool but has its headline half-covered by the profile photo the moment it's uploaded to a real profile.

  • A single line of text reads more reliably here than a paragraph — the canvas is too short vertically to stack more than a headline and maybe a short subline.
  • A plain color or subtle texture background tends to hold up better than a busy photo, since there's so little vertical room for a photo's subject to actually read clearly.
