Fake Threads Post Generator

The engagement labels here follow Threads' own terms — Reposts and Shares — since getting the label wrong is the fastest way for a mockup to look obviously fake to anyone who actually uses the app.

This tool is meant for illustration, mockups, and memes — not for fabricating a screenshot of something someone didn't actually post. Keeping the engagement numbers roughly proportional to each other (a post with 12 replies but 500K shares reads as implausible) also just makes for a more convincing mockup, whatever it's being used for.

• •Light vs. dark — pick whichever matches the screenshot style you're actually mimicking; mixing a light-mode mockup into a thread of otherwise dark-mode screenshots is an easy tell that it's staged.
• •Pinned adds the small pin icon Threads shows on a post the author has pinned to the top of their profile — only worth toggling on if the mockup is specifically about a pinned post.
