The two modes serve genuinely different formats, not just different sizes — a Carousel pin keeps Pinterest's standard card shape across every slide so it fits the normal grid, while an Idea Pin fills a full vertical frame meant to be swiped through full-screen rather than browsed in a feed.
Each slide exports as its own separate file in the ZIP rather than one combined image, matching how Pinterest actually expects a multi-image upload — a single collage image doesn't get the same swipeable treatment as a real multi-slide upload.
