All three formats here get the same class of overlay in Pinterest's grid and close-up views — a save button in the top-right corner and a profile chip near the bottom — but the exact safe area shifts with each format's own aspect ratio:
- •Standard (2:3) — the default pin shape, and the tightest of the three for vertical room around the overlay.
- •Square (1:1) — less vertical overlap risk than Standard, but a shorter frame overall to fit a design into.
- •Full-Screen — proportionally the most room to work with of the three, closer to how an Idea Pin actually displays.
Checking the specific format you're actually exporting, rather than assuming the same margins apply across all three, is the main thing worth double-checking here.
